It was founded, and is run, by Sue and Stuart Gregory. Celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2022, the company looks after exports, imports, and cross trades all around the world across sea, air, and road and offers specialisms in global events and exhibitions.

Wallis Shipping is actively working towards becoming net zero by 2050, through several commitments including a tree planting scheme, sustainable procurement, hybrid working contracts and electric cars for staff, improving the circular economy of its shipments, reducing waste and working on new technologies and innovations. The company is currently researching carbon emission schemes to enable their clients to offset their transport and shipping.
