Demand for Ipswich space ‘outstripping supply’

Strong demand for commercial space in Ipswich means more town centre property is needed, according to a commercial property agent in the town. Vanessa Penn of Penn Commercial said: “Town centre property continues to be much in demand. We have clients on our books who are very keen to move into Ipswich, in particular, but demand is outstripping supply. The commercial property market has remained pretty buoyant nearby and there are opportunities for landlords who wish to let or sell property.”

Penn Commercial has recently let three office spaces to new arrivals in the area; TNG Training has taken a five year lease on a 2200 sq.ft. office suite in Wolsey House in Princes Street. In nearby Coachman’s Court, offices have been let to Cameo Networking Services. Cash Converters has taken out a lease on 8 Northgate Street.

Norfolk & Waveney Enterprise Services has bought two units, extending over 7,500 sq. ft., for £680,000 on the Summit Business Park in Langer Road, Felixstowe.
