Amidst signs that the commercial property market is beginning to improve for high spec modern accommodation, developers Wrenbridge and Harber Properties are planning to build a new 8,500 sq ft unit on a speculative basis at Gateway 11 Business Park, Wymondham in Norfolk. Completion is scheduled for mid-2010.

Meanwhile, Wrenbridge and Harber Properties have announced two transactions at Gateway 11. The Norfolk Police Authority has completed the purchase of two office buildings, close to its existing operations & communications centre. It has also bought a further 2 acres of land for expansion , which also includes an agreement for Wrenbridge to construct a third building of 7,000 sq ft.

Following receipt of planning permission for a new office village on the Apex of the Park, Wrenbridge is also to build a new 12,000 sq ft building for the Norfolk & Waveney Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.

William Jones of marketing agent Bidwells said: "whilst there is still some doom and gloom around at the moment, there are deals to be done for well located, high quality buildings".
