Jaynic, the developer of Suffolk Park at Bury, has agreed a pre-let of a major warehouse unit on the site and is submitting a detailed planning application for phase three of the scheme involving this and two further large warehouse units.

The developer of the two million sq ft business and logistics scheme at Suffolk Park has pre-let a 76,822 sq ft warehouse to a parcel delivery company. Its plans for phase three of Suffolk Park, comprise the pre-let unit and two further warehouse units of 160,000 sq ft and 47,000 sq ft. Jaynic development director Ben Oughton said: “This pre-letting further endorses Suffolk Park as a distribution location with its immediate access to Junction 45 of the A14. This further letting highlights the strong and sustained demand at Suffolk Park over the last couple of years and has hastened our decision to submit the detailed application for phase three of the development.”

Companies taking space at Suffolk Park include Weerts Group, MH Star UK Ltd, Unipart Logistics, Treatt, Sealey and The East of England Ambulance Trust amounting to over 1.75m sq ft of space. Jaynic has not commented on the new company taking space but the indicative drawing submitted with the planning application shows the Hermes logo on a computer generated image of a building.
