Key Ipswich sites on the market

A prime office development site at the A14 Copdock Interchange outside Ipswich is being marketed for a public sector client by Savills The 3.5 acre site is available in parcels ranging from 0.75 acres upwards. The agent is also letting a former park & ride site at Bury Road, Ipswich

Referring to the Copdock site, Chris Moody, director at Savills Ipswich, said: “This site is perhaps best known for the new Suffolk One sixth form college, which is located to one end with the southern parcel having been acquired by Fred Olsen. The remaining land offers an unrivalled location standing at the gateway to Ipswich, close to the intersection of the A12/A14.” The land is offered from £400,000 per acre for quality office and high tech uses.

The six acre former park & ride site, also close to the A14, is available on flexible leasing arrangements at £150,000 pa, although it may be let in smaller parcels. Chris Moody said: “The site on Bury Road offers a secure environment in a high profile location on the outskirts of Ipswich. Situated adjacent to B&Q, the land offers the potential for a number of uses subject to planning”.
